Plantar Fasciitis

WHAT IS PLANTAR FASCIITIS?

Plantar fasciitis is a very common condition where the fascia at the sole of the foot becomes inflamed through over use or misuse. These are terms we use when the body starts to compensate for one reason or another and as a result puts too much pressure on different parts of the body. This part of the body may well be the plantar fascia. The body tries to heal itself by setting off an inflammatory reaction. It is the inflammation that makes it difficult to walk in the morning and gives you pain in the same part of your foot every day.
